UC has made a limited edition mahi/dorado colored versions of the very popular 9E jig sticks, they feature the same Fuji SiC components with a different overall color scheme to match the blank. These are awesome 30-60lb rods that fish best at the 40/50lb line classes when casting larger surface irons and other jigs.

These use graphite and glass composite blanks with an extra layer of woven carbon to stiffen up the butt section and give you enough pulling power to fish tuna. We've seen a few bluefin in the 150lb range caught on these. The tip is light enough to cast down to 2oz and you don't need to adopt a specific casting style due to the extra recoil provided by the graphite so even with an aggressive casting style the rod can keep up unlike older glass rods.
