The Tady TSP Hybrid jigs are a welcome edition to Tadys vertical jig line, covering the fast drop range of the market that has grown in popularity over the last year. Guys have figured out that a sleeker jig that drops fast is easier to use with larger reels and heavier line for our bluefin fishery, so Tady has come up with a solution to both ends of the market by introducing something that can drop fast but also has enough action when used like a slow pitch jig to work for rockfish and yellowtail. Weve seen these perform well over the last period of development and testing theyve done, so theyll definitely work for the traditional slow pitch jigging as well as it will work for our big bluefin.

All of the jigs include a packaged assist hook set for bottom fishing, but youll want to do your own rigging if youre targeting bluefin. Definitely want larger assist hooks or welded singles, along with a heavy 200lb leader. The colors they ended up going with match the TSP Tuna jigs they make besides the addition of the new Squid color from some of their yoyo-irons. They all have glow stripes so they wont have any issues at depth, and even in shallower water the bright and reflective coatings will work great for just about anything that hits a jig.
