I tried to stock these lures several years ago after returning from a Red Rooster III charter. We had a very good bite on wahoo that trip, and the boat had some of Captain Jimmy's lures aboard which really out produced the other wahoo bombs. I contacted Jim, and he really wasn't geared up to handle our orders. He was a long ranger, made the lures as a hobby, and didn't want to get too wrapped up with more work. Well, a few years passed, and Jim contacted me in early 2019. Sure was nice to hear that he'd like us to stock his excellent wahoo bombs. Probably the quickest order he's received, narrowed down the color selection and here's the result, some very successful lures, well proven to perform.

You may notice that these jigs are not pre-rigged with cable or wire. Some anglers prefer to run mono over the cable, personal preference. No doubt that a person will get more bites if you rig the lure on mono or fluorocarbon, but you do run the risk of not getting your lure back in your hands if you are in the midst of a good wahoo bite. I usually run my own jigs without any cable/wire, but will typically run 18-24 inches of 135# seven strand cable on a bomb.
